A message from the Principal
We are proud to be part of Nene Education Trust, where children are provided with a range of opportunities during their school life to develop the whole child.
At Stanwick Primary School, we have extremely dedicated and committed staff that work to provide a range of experiences to enhance the learning journey that children will take throughout school. Our vision is for our pupils to leave our school with confidence in their own ability, believing that they can achieve far beyond the expectations of the curriculum.
If you would like to visit our school for a tour please contact the school office team on 01933 623117.

Our Aims & Ethos
We are driven by our 4 core Aims and our Ethos which feed into all that we do:
INSPIRE
ACHIEVE
RESPECT
CARE
At Stanwick Primary we strive to make our school a place that nurtures, inspires and challenges all pupils to believe and reach beyond themselves, be proud of their achievements and reach their full and unique potential.
School closes at the end of the day (3.10pm)
We are excited to share with you that we are planning on taking Owl class to Holdenby House in Northampton. On the trip the children will take part in the ‘Outdoor Education’ program where the children will have a hands-on experience of nature and farming. The children will work together to complete a range of activities, from planting seeds to finding out how many loaves of bread can be made from the wheat we grow on the farm.
Please can children arrive at school at the normal time. The coach will be returning to school for the end of the school day; however, you will be kept updated via email if there are any delays.
On the day, please send your child to school with a packed lunch and a drink in a disposable bag. Once the children have had their lunch the items (including the drink) will be disposed of. Please can we remind you that we are a nut free school. The children will need a named coat (a lightweight rain jacket even if it is due to be a sunny day), suitable shoes and if possible, a named hat if it is a sunny day. All the children will need to have their arms and legs covered, so either trousers or a skirt with tights and school jumpers. If the weather requires it, sun cream should be applied prior to coming to school. Children should wear their school uniform.
If your child suffers with travel sickness, please advise the school office/class staff. If you feel it’s appropriate, you will need to provide travel sickness medication for your child on the day.
